Account details / configuration management

Accounts & subscriptions

Create an account, update your configuration or switch devices. Check your current status in the user panel.

Do I need an email address to create an account?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Keep your login details safe, ideally in a password manager, and never write your password in public notes or share it with others. Access subscriptions, orders and support tickets through the VPNCB user panel. If you can’t log in, check your input method, capitalization and any spaces before or after pasted text. If the problem continues, save the on-screen message and contact support through an available help option in the panel rather than repeatedly changing settings.

Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I update it in my client?

Sign in to the user panel and find your current subscription in the subscription section, then import it into your client as instructed. If you already have a configuration, open the client’s configuration or subscription manager, select the VPNCB entry and update it. Once complete, return to that configuration and choose a server again. If the update fails, check that your local network can reach the user panel and that you copied the full link. Your subscription link is tied to account access, so don’t post it publicly. Hide its full parameters in any screenshots you submit.

Do I need to choose a new plan if I switch computers or use other devices?

There’s no device limit, so you don’t need to change plans just because you switch devices. VPNCB supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Sign in to the user panel on each device, then follow the instructions for that platform to get a client and import your subscription. You must be signed in to access your subscription; check the panel for iOS access requirements. After moving to a new device, verify that it works as expected. If you no longer use the old device, remove its local subscription configuration. Be sure to sign out on public or borrowed devices.

My client lists servers, but says my subscription is invalid. What should I check?

Sign in to the user panel first and check your subscription status, data usage and orders. This will help you determine whether your account status has changed or the client is still using an old configuration. A server name in the list only means that a configuration was saved locally; it doesn’t confirm that your subscription is active. Once you’ve checked your status, update the subscription and reconnect, taking care not to select an older configuration with the same name. If the panel and client show different statuses, note the exact error, platform and subscription update result, then contact support through a ticket. Don’t send your password or full subscription link.

Local network / app settings

Connections & troubleshooting

Separate local network, client and app behavior so you can compare the results of each settings change.

The client says it’s connected, but websites still won’t load. What should I do?

Disconnect the client first and check that your local network can still reach websites that normally work. Reconnect, then check the selected server and proxy mode. A connected status may only mean that the client has set up a local proxy; it doesn’t necessarily mean the target app is using it. Use a browser-based IP check to confirm that your exit location matches the selected server, then try the target website. If your exit IP hasn’t changed, check your system proxy or the client’s network routing settings. If it has changed but only the target site fails, check that site’s regional rules and the specific error message.

Why does my browser work, but an app won’t use the proxy?

Browsers and other apps don’t necessarily use the same network settings. Some follow the system proxy, while others have their own proxy options or may be set to connect directly by the client’s routing rules. Check whether the app has its own network settings, then review the client’s rule-match log. If the client offers other traffic-routing modes, read the instructions before switching. Don’t run multiple proxy tools at the same time. After making a change, fully quit and reopen the app to compare results. On a work-managed device, follow your organization’s network and access policies.

Subscription update failed or import shows an error. How can I identify the cause?

First confirm that you can sign in to the user panel, then retrieve your subscription again from the panel instead of continuing to use an old link from an unknown source or incomplete copied text. If import reports a format error, check that the import method is compatible with your client. If an update reports a network error, check your local network and access to the panel. Don’t paste your subscription link into an unfamiliar online conversion tool. If it still fails, note the client name, platform, steps you took and full error message. Hide subscription parameters in screenshots before submitting a support ticket.

How do I troubleshoot DNS or proxy setting conflicts?

Note your current settings, then quit other proxy or network-routing tools and anything that changes DNS, leaving only the client you’re testing. Check for an outdated address in your system proxy settings. If you previously changed DNS manually, restore your local network’s original settings and compare the results. Change one relevant setting at a time so you can identify the cause; avoid changing rules, servers and DNS all at once. Browser encrypted DNS settings may behave differently from system settings. Don’t change managed work network settings without permission. Instead, share the symptoms and error message with your network administrator or support.

Compare time periods / choose a route for your needs

Speed & routes

Use real-world app performance to check regional rules, network paths and connection stability separately.

Web pages are slow and videos buffer during peak hours. What should I check first?

First compare your local network performance with the client disconnected, ruling out weak Wi-Fi, background downloads or local congestion. Then keep the same app and use case while trying another server. Don’t run speed tests while downloading or change several settings at once. If only video playback buffers, note the platform, current resolution and selected region. If all apps are slow, note your local network type and when the issue occurs. Performance depends on your local connection, network route and the destination service, so choose a server based on actual results rather than its name alone.

How should I choose between IEPL, relayed and direct routes?

These terms describe different network paths, not a speed ranking that applies to every region and app. IEPL uses a dedicated connection, a relayed route passes through an intermediate node, and a direct route connects straight to the exit. First check which regions the target service allows, then compare how each route performs on your network for page loading, sustained connections and playback. For work and AI tools, check whether sessions stay connected; for video, check playback quality. Use the server page’s route descriptions as a guide, but don’t assume one route type is always faster.

There are many countries and routes. Should I always choose the nearest region?

VPNCB covers 100+ countries / 170+ routes. When choosing a region, consider both the target service’s rules and your local network path. Geographic distance can be a starting point, but it doesn’t determine how well a connection will work. Route types can also differ within the same region. For everyday work, compare routes that meet the service’s regional requirements, and try to keep your account sign-ins in a consistent region rather than switching unnecessarily. To access content for a particular region, check your account region and the platform’s rules, then test the route. Coverage in a region doesn’t mean every platform supports access from there.

Why do videos or AI tools still have problems when my speed test looks good?

A speed test connects to a different destination from the app you’re using, so its results can’t replace testing the app itself. Video can also depend on the platform’s region, account permissions, playback device and content version. AI tools may depend on service availability by region, account status and browser sessions. Save the app’s exact error message, confirm that ordinary websites work on the same route, then test the target app separately. If you see a region or account message, check the platform’s rules instead of running repeated speed tests. When reporting an issue, say whether it happens during sign-in, content loading or continued use to help distinguish route problems from app restrictions.

Check prices / manage orders

Billing & refunds

Compare monthly plans and data packages. Check orders and request updates in the user panel.

How much do monthly plans cost, and when does data reset?

Monthly plans cost ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Choose a plan based on your typical use and check data usage in the panel. Device count alone doesn’t indicate how much data you’ll need, since there’s no limit on simultaneous devices. Check your subscription status, exact reset time and order history in the user panel. If you’re unsure how an upgrade affects your account, review the plan and order details shown there before proceeding.

What’s the difference between a data package and a monthly plan? Do data packages expire?

Data packages cost ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB and ¥658 for 3000GB. They last until the data is used and never expire. Monthly plans reset data on the activation date each month. Before choosing, consider whether you use the service regularly or only occasionally, then check plan prices and billing details. A data package isn’t a monthly subscription with recurring data, and no expiration doesn’t mean you can keep using it after the data runs out. For details about your current subscription and data package, check your user panel rather than assuming how they combine or which is used first.

Which payment methods are supported, and what if my order doesn’t update after payment?

We accept Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Choose a plan in the user panel and follow the order page instructions to pay. The order record in the panel shows your payment status. If the order hasn’t updated after payment, reopen the order details to check before trying anything again. Keep the order ID, payment result and any on-screen error, then explain the issue in a support ticket through the panel. In screenshots, hide personal information unrelated to the issue. Your password and full subscription link aren’t needed to verify a payment. Don’t send money to payment addresses from unverified sources.

How do I request a refund, and what information should I prepare?

VPNCB offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user panel, submit a refund request through the ticket system and include the relevant order details. See the Terms of Service for eligibility details. Refund requests and technical troubleshooting are separate issues, so you don’t need to keep switching servers before explaining your request. If you also want to report a connection problem, attach a screenshot of the error with sensitive details hidden. Check your ticket in the panel for updates and provide any information requested in the reply. Refund timing depends on processing and the payment provider; no processing time is guaranteed.
